1989年8月7日出生于美国加利福尼亚州康普顿，在2009年NBA选秀中德罗赞于首轮第9顺位被猛龙队选中，2024年7月加盟国王队。职业生涯至今德罗赞先后效力于猛龙、马刺、公牛和国王队。德罗赞于2016-17赛季入选最佳阵容三阵，2017-18赛季入选最佳阵容二阵，2021-22赛季入选最佳阵容二阵，6次入选全明星阵容。

国家队方面，德罗赞于2014年随美国国家队夺得男篮世界杯冠军，2016年又随美国队夺得里约奥运会男篮冠军。

德罗赞上赛季代表公牛出战79场，场均孝敬24分4.3篮板5.3助攻1.1抢断，投篮命中率48%，三分命中率33.3%，罚球命中率85.3%。
